DC BLAZERS

Founded in 2000, we are a nonprofit community based organization that offers at-risk youth an alternative through community service, sports and education, which will keep them off of the streets and out of trouble.

Through basketball and community service, our goal is to provide our youth the opportunity to learn and maintain life skills such as working successfully with others, sharing ideas, displaying humility, demonstrating flexibility and competitiveness and functioning as a team.

Through education, we are guiding our youth so that they have a chance to reach their true potential and aspirations.

We provide an umbrella of protection for our participants.
