DC Blazers Host a series of Financial aid workshops

Session I

   In Session One, we educated the attendees on the definition of what is financial aid and an overview of the process of applying for financial aid and scholarships.

Session II

  In Session Two, we will actually go through the process of applying for the FAFSA (Free Application of Federal Student Aid). Two items must be completed PRIOR to attending session two. First, the parent and student must go to www.pin.ed.gov and apply for a pin because each person must have his/her own pin.  Second, the parent and student, if applicable, must bring either his/her 2007 W2, last paycheck stub, 2006 Federal Taxes or preferably the 2007 Federal Taxes if filed.  Also any Social Security, Welfare/TANF, Child Support information should be brought to the session.

Without this information, it will difficult to participate in the session.
